Jim Shore Disney Princesses

Everybody has a favorite Disney Princess, a heartfelt heroine who sparks great memories of summer afternoons in dark theaters. Magical moments filled with laughter, adventure and learning important life lessons when it counts the most. We’ve watched them together and they’ve become part of our shared experience. They illustrate the values we admire, the evil we strive to overcome. And they stood the test of time, the stories and characters are as much loved today as they were when I was a kid. Disney Princesses are all wonderful, but like I say, everybody has a favorite!

Growing up I was a big fan of Cinderella, that one came out the year I was born (I’m old) and I’ve always had a soft spot for her. Then came Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Later there was Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Ariel from Little Mermaid and Jasmine from Aladdin (hard to believe that one came out 25 years ago!). Then Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel… the list of dynamic characters and great stories is amazing! But between you and me, my favorite goes all the way back the beginning. I’ve always loved the first Disney Princess, Snow White. She is everything we admire in a Disney heroine, enchanting children of all ages for over 75 years. And that voice! So that’s my story, I love them all but Snow White is my favorite. Who’s yours?

Belle will always be my favorite!

I got each one from this collection because I loved them all and could not choose! Each couple is so charming looking like they are about to waltz or say their vows..so wonderful! I recommend them highly! I will always love Cinderella because she was known as the kindest princess but to me Aurora was the most regal so I would love to see a really good one of her and Phillip, with Aurora in her peasant dress dancing with Phillip! I would love to see a Disney Traditions Giselle from Enchanted and Prince Edward and King of the Jungle Tarzan and his love Jane need a couples fig……….but please please please do more Mulan pieces! As a Mulan and Khan would be a great fig, Mulan back to back with Chien-Po, Ling and Yao…..a back to back of Chi Fu and Shan You with Hayabusa…and a couples fig of Mulan and Li Shang one in their armour and one in their traditional dress! Thanks for all you do! You and your art is soooooooo AWESOME! I am so excited to get your New Mulan storybook with Mulan and her Father when it’s released!

As a mom of two 20 something daughters, I am obsessed with these. My oldest daughter has loved Beauty and the Beast since she first saw the animated version when she was 2. Now at 28, she still is obsessed with Belle and the live action version, which we’ve seen 7 times at the theatre and now own several copies. My youngest daughter is a real-life Snow White, she is a nature lover, animal lover and outdoors gal, but when I was expecting her, Aladdin came out and I used to sing “A Whole New World” to her. So I am torn, I can’t wait to see Belle and Prince Adam as a human please. While I love the Beast, I think she needs to marry a good looking prince like the other princesses.
